I think it’s very much a case of being right dead in the middle when it comes to Feast for Crows. For example, it’s quite a stretch to say that Martin isn’t developing the plot at all.

He clearly is. But when it comes to this book in particular, it seems the fact that Martin had to split it in half due to needing to get a new book out fast has had a big effect.
There are so many side plots in this story that seem “spur of the moment” rather than integrated from the beginning. An example is the prophesy Cersei apparently heard from an early age. It basically came out of nowhere.

This event is indicative of what happens throughout the entire book. Side plots and new revelations seem to come out of nowhere. Martin seems to be having trouble with this kind of thing, letting the seams show. It kind of breaks the story for me sometimes to be honest. I know it shouldn’t but it does.
But overall, it was still pretty good, as long as I can get my brain to accept the random happenstance.

A Feast for Crows Audiobook, is the audio adaptation of the fourth installment in the series of high, epic fantasy novels in the book series called A Song of and Ice and Fire, was the first book in the series which debuted at the top of The New York Times Best Seller list. It is yet again written by George R. R. Martin, who, by the time the book had already been published, was known because of its prequels. Like its predecessors, this book is a thick one; so thick in fact, that R. R. Martin, along with his publishers, almost split the original manuscript’s narrative into two separate books. It did not happen, however, and it was published on October the 17th, 2005.

Much like each and every one of its predecessors, A Feast for Crows was nominated for various book awards, including, of course, the Hugo Award, and the Locus Award. Despite not winning any of them, the sheer popularity of the series by then had elevated this book’s status, once again. The novel, again just like its prequels, already has more than 20 foreign language translations to its name, e-books, and audio books left and right all over the internet, and, judging by the pattern of the television series which adapted the whole series’ plots, may be the basis for the 4th season of the small screen TV series, Game of Thrones (more commonly known as GoT).

Though the e-book versions of this novel indeed are widespread, and since the television adaptation has not hit the small screen just yet, the audiobook versions are the more preferred alternate versions by many interested individuals out there.
